How to convert FAT to NTFS file system (For More Guidance or Share your experience please Comment below)
Many people don’t know the method to convert a FAT partition to NTFS, or if some of them know the ...trick they hesitate to perform because something can go wrong and their whole data can be lost. But in this article we will show you the easiest trick to convert FAT to NTFS. Just follow the easy instructions given below:
Note: Although the chance of corruption or data loss during the conversion from FAT to NTFS is minimal, but we suggest you to backup all your data.
Open Command Prompt in your windows.
At the command prompt, type
CONVERT [driveletter]: /FS:NTFS
Convert.exe will attempt to convert the partition to NTFS. Enjoy!!!
