In “Method 1” we have edited the properties of the shortcut to Google Talk so that when ever we click on the shortcut, a new window will open. But here we will create another shortcut which can be opened in a new window. So that two windows can be executed at the same time and you can deal with two user accounts as well. To create a new shortcut for Google Talk read and follow below steps:

1. Right-click on anywhere you want to place the GTalk shortcut.

2. From the content menu point to New and select Shortcut.

3. Copy and paste the following syntax in the location of item:

“c:program filesgooglegoogle talkgoogletalk.exe” /nomutex

4. Click on Next button.

5. Give the shortcut a proper name.

6. Click OK button and you are done.

7. Now the second shortcut you created will always open in a separate window.
